OUR AUTHENTICATION PROCESS:

Every bag goes through a structured inspection process before it's listed. Our experts examine every detail - individually and as a whole - including:

• Material
• Datacode and serial numbers
• Logos
• Hardware
• Stitching and craftsmanship
• Texture
• Proportions and symmetry

Authenticity is additionally verified independently by a selected external authentication partner like Entrupy.

We also work with long-standing, vetted suppliers who uphold strict quality standards of their own.

CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY:

Every bag you order from us comes with our certificate of authenticity, which includes:

• Bag model name
• Datacode
• Date of the inspection
• Examiner's signature

With this card, you're entitled to have your bag's authenticity re-verified at any time. Should you ever decide to resell your piece, this naturally extends to the next owner as well - though they'll need to provide proof of purchase from the original buyer.

AUTHENTICATION AS A SERVICE

Want an independent check on a bag? You can book authentication as a standalone service directly through our website.

How it works:

• Order the service online
• Send us your bags (or drop it off by arrangement at our office in Zürich)
• We inspect the bag and get back to you promptly by email
• Return shipping included, along with our certificate of authenticity

Since every bag we handle goes through both our internal review an external partners, we can also provide the certificate from an independent third-party provider on request. Just get in touch with us after placing your order.

Shipping the bag to us is at your own cost, but the return shipping is included in the price. The full authentication process costs CHF 80. Authenticating a Hermès bag costs CHF 180.

In rare cases (for example, with very old or exotic models), neither we nor our partners may be able to reach a final assessment with the necessary certainty. When this happens, we won't issue a certificate, and you'll receive a full refund. The more information you can share with us in advance (e.g., brand, model, age, origin), the better we can assess beforehand whether authentication will be possible.
